Wow, this was SUCH a great experience. So glad we went here for my 22 month old!! First, when you enter the waiting room there's such a cute play table with different types of learning toys for kids to enjoy freely. We only waited maybe 5 minutes max to get in (didn't even finish my paperwork in time!). The doctor was so kind, so sweet and knew exactly how to interact with my toddler. We brought my toddler's baby doll and a tiny toothbrush and the doctor just jumped right in helping my toddler brush the baby's teeth and then moved onto my kiddo. Made the experience so great. The dental assistant was so kind too and we are very grateful to have gone here! Very welcoming and thorough. Luckily, I didn't finish my paperwork beforehand because it gave my toddler a bit more time to play and then I had to redirect to some stickers I brought because she did not want to leave, haha! The offices were super clean, very professional. Highly recommend. Also, for any parents that may want to get their toddlers "Ready/excited" for the dentist, we watched the episode of Daniel Tiger on PBS Kids where he goes to the dentist and then followed it up with the youtube episode of Silly Miss Lily going to the dentist with her baby doll (Look up: "Silly Miss Lily goes to the dentist" to find the video). Both were very helpful and my toddler was mimicking going to the dentist all morning after watching it. Really got her ready and excited, and we were able to easily implement some of the things she learned while we were there to make the appt easy for her and our dentist at Grand Smiles followed all her cues and terminology we used like "quite roar!" to open her mouth, etc.
I had a wonderful experience with my children's dental treatment. Very good doctors. I am especially grateful to Dr. Pey and assistant Yurii, they were incredibly patient, kind and did everything professionally. Thanks to them, my children felt very comfortable and calm. I am very satisfied with this clinic. I am infinitely grateful to them.
