My son had a procedure yesterday that required anesthesia. I was very disappointed that the dental office does not offer any assistance to parents trying to leave the office with their disoriented child. They encourage you to bring blanket, stuffed animals things to help comfort your child. Then you have your hands full and you’re also trying to carry a 75 pound kid out to the car. They really should have a wheelchair or someone available to help you get them settled in the vehicle. No one even offered to open a door to help me and my son had kicked his anhoe off and was unable to stand or walk After waking up from the anesthesia….i was literally juggling everything trying to pickup is shoe from the ground and not a single employee offered to help! Thank goodness another parent saw be struggling and push the door open for me. As soon as they got their $900 we no longer mattered…. There was no follow up. Call to see how my child was doing. Post anesthesia. An opportunity for improvement for Customer Service And patient care.
