Children's Choice Dental Care Arden

I drive all the way from El Dorado Hills (due to the poor quality of the Denti-cal we receive there). We have now used this specific Arden location for years. They are efficient, you can actually get someone to pick up the phone. My son had more than 1 dental procedure and there was no pain and he has no issues going to the dentist the next time. That is pretty amazing for any dentist. Child or adult. Yes. You must verbally confirm your appointment. I consider that respectful behavior when the appointments with good providers are so hard to come by. We have seen multiple dentists at Arden and they EACH have been awesome. The x-ray tech was great at interacting with the kiddo. I will continue to drive the 40 minutes GLADLY. Thank you so much for the great care!

When I first found this dental office 6 months ago i immediately fell in love with it. The original staff were super friendly, energetic, kind and caring. The doctors were amazing. I recently took my son back for his follow up appointment a few days ago and boy how things have changed ! The girls in the front office are still amazing and so as the doctors however the assistants were not. They seemed very irritated and projected an attitude as if they didn’t want to be there.. it seems as if they do not have the personality to work with CHILDREN and that is a bit concerning because it is a CHILDREN'S DENTAL OFFICE !! One of the assistants came out of an operation room yelling at the other assistants for touching her chair.. not only was my son there but there was other children there as well as NEW patients and that was not cool. The assistants were also impatient with the kiddos especially at the X-ray station.. I get taking X-rays with kids can be challenging but your approach plays a big part of that. There was not much engagement with the children as they had to wait for the doctors to come and do their exams. A simple small conversation could have gone a long way.. The office still has the potential to be great but some coaching needs to be done as well.
