OHSU Pediatric Dental Surgery Clinic

I wish there would be an opportunity to place -1 star. My autistic 5 years old son developed teeth pain (cavities) and I contacted OHSU pediatric dentistry (school of dentistry). They asked for a referral with a mark “urgent”. They received the referral 11 days ago. I have been calling them and asking about the status of our referral. The answers were as following “we need 24-48hours to process”, “we sent your referral to “, “a doctor hasn’t yet processed”, “our scheduling manager will contact you if not today then tomorrow”. I am still waiting for them to call me. Of course my son was treated in a different clinic where doctors and personnel care about little patients. If your kid has dental problems, don’t wast your time calling OHSU.

I’ve called several times now to get my son with special needs in because he needs sedation. We did the consultation and I was told it could be up to 6 months to get into an operating room. Over a year later… zero calls back.
