4S Pediatric Dentistry

We recently switched to Dr. Spencer at 4S Pediatric Dentistry, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. My kids had been going to a different dental office near our home for the past three years. At our most recent check-up there, I was told that my daughter needed two baby teeth extracted because her adult teeth were coming in, and that my second son had a cavity that needed to be treated. However, the earliest available appointment for treatment was four months away, which made me uncomfortable. I decided to reach out to Dr. Spencer, who used to see my older kids when we lived in Poway. The office staff was incredibly kind and helpful over the phone, and they were able to schedule us just three days later. At the appointment, Dr. Spencer evaluated my kids and gave me surprising news—my daughter didn’t need extractions, and my son didn’t have any cavities. I asked, “Really?” and Dr. Spencer kindly showed me the X-rays and explained everything clearly. Our previous dentist had also recommended sealants for my second son’s molars using laughing gas (since they were unsuccessful doing it without gas last time). But Dr. Spencer was able to apply the sealants without any sedation. My kids were so happy, and I felt truly relieved and grateful that we returned to a dentist I can trust. Even though we now live 22 miles away from 4S Pediatric Dentistry, it’s absolutely worth the drive. We’re very happy to be seeing Dr. Spencer again, and I highly recommend 4S Pediatric Dentistry to any parent looking for honest, gentle, and professional dental care for their children.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Lanie, Dr. Arielle, and the front office staff at 4S Pediatric Dentistry. My almost 5-year-old son, who is autistic, can sometimes have a hard time with new environments and procedures, but Lanie was absolutely amazing with him. She took the time to explain each step in a gentle and patient way, making sure he felt comfortable and safe. Her calm and kind demeanor instantly put him at ease, and she truly went above and beyond to make the visit a positive experience. It was incredible to see how she connected with him and worked at his pace. As a parent, it means so much to know that your child is cared for with such compassion and understanding. Thank you, Lanie, and the whole team, for making what could have been a stressful appointment into a truly positive one. We are so grateful!
